Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips

The culinary free time activity made Fruit Salsa and baked cinnamon chips.  Yum!  The smell of cinnamon was filling the air.  This is one of the new free time activities offered this year..

Fruit Salsa
1 cup finely chopped fresh strawberries
1 medium navel orange, peeled and finely chopped
3 medium kiwifruit, peeled and finly chopped
1 can (8 oz), unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar

In small bowl combine first six ingredients cover and refrigerate until serving

Cinnamon chips
10 flour tortillas (8 inch)
1/4 cup butter melted
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

 Brush tortillas with butter; cut each into eight wedges; combine cinnamon and sugar, sprinkle over chips.  Place on ungreased baking sheet,  Bake at 350 for 5-10 mn or until crisp.

yields 2.5 cups salsa and 80 chips for 20 servings
